About the Role
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, eCommerce Store Operations to lead a small team of local operations managers. This role will manage the set up and publishing of banners, promotions, and high visibility product launches on our artists stores. The role is instrumental in helping build fan-to-artist relationships through product launches and promotional activations. As part of the global D2C Operations Leadership team, you will be instrumental in defining and streamlining business processes and driving outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the business process to handle intake requests, allocate resources, execute, and launch products, promotions, and marketing requests on our ecommerce sites.
- Manage a direct team of store and item operations managers who operate our customer-facing artists stores.
- Define requirements and success metrics for our streamlined operations process and drive continuous improvement in team performance.
- Own requirements and implementation of project management tools for your area of accountability.
- Execute visual merchandising strategies to showcase new releases, featured products, and promotions effectively.
- Refine presentations continuously to drive improvements in engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the store managers / brand management team to understand the goals, objectives, and messaging for new releases, campaigns, and promotions.
- Execute the timed launch of the campaign according to the predetermined plan and schedule, ensuring all elements are activated accurately.
- Continuously monitor and track weekly sales on new album releases to ensure chart numbers are accurate while identifying any sales discrepancies.
- Partner with technology and platform teams to identify and prioritize improvements in business tools, analytics, and project management suites.
- Coordinate with Customer Service teams to update stores to respond to customer feedback and address issues promptly to minimize exposure.
Requirements
- 5 years of eCommerce and Site Merchandising or store operations experience.
- Experience supporting product and marketing campaigns on high visibility stores.
- Experience working with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
- Understanding of product catalogs, content management, digital publishing, and merchandising processes.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, brand management, customer services, and external stakeholders to coordinate product launches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion for the customer experience and exceptional service to clients, protecting their brand and reputation as well as advocating for a best-in-class customer experience.
- Detail-oriented and accountable for the quality of overall outcomes and individual team deliverables.
- Comfortable using data to prioritize decisions and measure business impact.
- Ability to influence and lead indirect reports and peers.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in an agile or kanban environment.
- Experience managing multiple brands storefronts including multiple daily product releases.
