The manager serves as a central operational point of contact for assigned leaders, helping anticipate upcoming needs, organize priorities, create polished deliverables, coordinate across internal functions, and drive follow-through on time-sensitive initiatives that support growth, profitability, risk management, and the talent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner strategically with assigned Deal Services leaders to support execution of short- and long-term practice priorities, including growth, profitability, operational effectiveness, and risk mitigation.
  • Operate in a self-directed manner by anticipating leader and practice needs, identifying operational gaps, and recommending practical solutions that improve execution, communication, data quality, and the delivery of client solutions.
  • Partner with internal functions, including Finance, Resource Management, Talent, Marketing, IT, Legal, Billing, and other Consulting support teams, to develop, implement, and maintain efficient operating processes and practice support routines.
  • Develop, maintain, analyze, and improve recurring Deal Services reporting and KPI packages that support growth, profitability, resource planning, operational decision-making, and leadership visibility, including financial results, revenue and pipeline, utilization, headcount, leverage, WIP, AR, realization, billing goals, project-level margins, and related performance metrics.
  • Provide direct operational support for time-sensitive, confidential, and leader-driven requests, including meeting preparation, action item tracking, follow-up communications, and coordination across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate recurring leadership forums, partner/owner communications, training communications, newsletters, and meeting materials, including agendas, slide decks, talking points, and follow-up actions.
  • Develop polished work products from open-ended leadership requests, including analysis summaries, presentation materials, communications, tracker updates, and decision-support documentation.
  • Create and execute project plans for assigned initiatives; revise plans as priorities change, manage risks and issues, identify corrective actions, and drive projects to completion within expected timelines and scope.
  • Support new service line, solution, technology, and process deployments by coordinating with practice leaders, technical counterparts, internal support functions, and vendors as needed.
  • Provide ongoing operational support, oversight, and process adherence for assigned Deal Services initiatives, policy and procedure updates, systems, and recurring practice management activities.
  • Support onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer for Deal Services Operations team members and practice stakeholders, helping team members understand key operating processes, systems, reporting, and leadership expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience supporting management or leadership-level stakeholders in a professional services, consulting, operations, finance, or related business environment.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives with Finance, Resource Management, Talent, Marketing, IT, Legal, Billing, or other internal support teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, organize ambiguous requests, create project plans, track action items, and drive work to completion with limited oversight.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams; ability to create polished reports, presentations, trackers, and written communications.
