About the Role
Major Food Group is hiring part-time Event Food Runners to join our team at THE POOL, an iconic venue in New York City known for its mid-century elegance and grandeur.
Responsibilities
- Delivers food from kitchen to guests accurately and timely.
- Articulates menu offerings, descriptions, and ingredients to guests.
- Sets tables appropriately for each stage of service.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of expo and service station areas.
- Cleans tables between courses and resets them after meals.
- Assists the front-of-house team with additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
