About the Role

The CFS team at DP World Agigea terminal is looking for individuals with a Stevedore Operator qualification who are passionate about groupage operations.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate the loading and unloading of goods into and out of containers within the CFS warehouse and other terminal areas.
• Coordinate activities under the responsibility of the CFS department, adhering to operational procedures and specific terminal requirements.
• Collaborate with customs authorities during goods inspection operations and provide necessary support for optimal execution.
• Verify the accuracy of container number information and maintain constant communication with the Documentation office for correct data updates.
• Supervise the lashing and unlashing of goods when necessary for transshipment or customs control.
• Monitor the daily activity schedule and ensure adherence to established deadlines and priorities.
• Communicate with the Documentation and Planning departments regarding container status, traffic flow, operational priorities, and data accuracy in terminal systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety at work requirements, including the use and verification of appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Coordinate and support the team to achieve high performance through training, supervision, clarifying responsibilities, and supporting the return to work of injured individuals.
• Promote a safe, inclusive work environment free from discrimination or harassment by monitoring behavior, encouraging correct practices, and reporting incidents.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary education and holding a Stevedore Operator qualification are mandatory criteria.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in loading/unloading goods into and out of containers or in logistics warehouses.
• Good computer operation skills and proficiency in using activity-specific applications.
• Intermediate level English language skills, both written and spoken.
