About the Role
The Territory Manager, Sales is responsible for the on-label promotion and execution of sales strategies for approved Esperion products to targeted customers within their assigned geography. This role involves executing Esperion sales processes in a compliant and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Achieve individual territory sales goals.
- Review performance metrics with RSM to ensure territory is achieving maximum sales results.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers.
- Promote and educate Health Care Providers (HCPs) on Esperion products through various engagement methods.
- Analyze local market trends and execute strategies to maximize product use.
- Demonstrate successful use of sales and marketing tools.
- Maintain knowledge of Esperion product payor coverage.
- Attend local, regional, and national congresses to promote Esperion brands.
- Complete administrative tasks such as sample inventory, call reporting, and expense management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and complete required training.
- Adhere to allocated territory budget and expense guidelines.
- Establish and maintain effective communications with RSMs and TMs.
- Monitor and maintain consistency between Sales and Marketing efforts.
- Work closely with sales leadership and Market Access to maximize pull-through.
- Maintain vendor credentialing requirements for customer access.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a STEM field.
- 1-3 years of pharmaceutical or relevant sales experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Consideration for candidates with military background or similar experience demonstrating drive and discipline.
- Experience calling on or working with Healthcare Professionals preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Documented track record of consistent high performance.
- Desire to work in a start-up environment or experience in an entrepreneurial sales model.
