About the Role

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service to customers, greeting them personally and thanking them.
Operate dishwashing machines or wash items by hand, monitoring water temperature for sanitary wash cycles.
Clean and sanitize equipment, preparation areas, and production areas.
Clean dishes and equipment used and put them away once dry.
Clean and mop floors, keeping work area floors clean and dry.
Keep all department storage areas clean and organized.
Receive deliveries, checking weights for accuracy and matching inventory to bill.
Bag trash and dispose of it in the compactor and recycling.
Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the department, including doing prep work or assisting customers.
Prioritize customer assistance over other tasks when needed.

Requirements

Work efficiently in all tasks.
Willingness to learn the operations of the surrounding kitchen positions.
Willingness to work collaboratively and communicate with a team of co-workers and managers.
Exhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams’ products and quality.
Ability to demonstrate and set the example for Adams’ culture and values.
Safely operate the commercial dishwasher and clean all kitchen dishware, pots, utensils, knives, etc.
Work in a productive pace environment, especially during holidays and busy times of the day.
Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift.
Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift.
Communicate with others to exchange information.
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks including in tight and confined spaces.
