About the Role
Curtis Lumber is seeking experienced Sales Associates to join their team. This role involves managing the upkeep, cleanliness, and restocking of specific departments, intercepting phone calls, building quotes and orders, and assisting customers with their needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with various sales channels and possess strong customer service and sales skills to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage upkeep, cleanliness, and restocking in Paint, Plumbing, and Electrical Departments and back storage areas.
- Intercept phone calls.
- Build quotes and orders for pickup or delivery.
- Assist customers with all needs.
- Engage in face-to-face, phone, and electronic sales.
- Utilize exceptional customer service and sales skills to meet or exceed company sales and margin goals.
- Understand the marketplace and know product features.
- Work to meet prospect customers’ needs.
- Employ effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add-on sales techniques.
- Utilize effective closing techniques.
- Follow up on quotes and convert them to orders.
- Share expertise with others.
