About the Role
Market 32/Price Chopper is hosting a hiring event with on-the-spot interviews for a variety of full-time positions in the bakery department. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and merchandising bakery products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation.
- Assist with bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising, and presentation.
- Run the department in the absence of the manager.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitation.
- Maintain an adequate presentation with proper product variety.
- Adhere to all corporate and state sanitation regulations.
- Fulfill all customer special orders.
- Assist in the training and development of bakery associates.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety.
- Assist bakery manager in maintaining corporate inventory levels.
- Learn financial aspects of the bakery department, including paperwork, shrink, sales, and budgets.
- Control shrink through adherence to policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
