About the Role

KPFF Austin is seeking experienced civil engineers to work on a variety of interesting and collaborative projects with substantial growth opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a wide variety of interesting and collaborative projects.
  • Visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and envision potential scope of work requirements.
  • Apply established engineering principles to solve problems and/or overcome obstacles using sound judgement, independent decision making, and prolonged focus.

Requirements

  • At least five years’ experience in site development, plus engineering, project management, and planning experience.
  • Experience with sustainable design practices.
  • Experience meeting Low Impact Development (LID) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) goals.
  • Proven ability to prepare SUSMPs, SWPPPs, and WQMPs.
  • Ability to focus on client satisfaction.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills with an interest in training, developing, and supporting staff.
  • Experience working in a cooperative team environment.

  • KPFF's civil engineering staff accomplishes projects for site development, parks, and recreation facilities and the improvements to existing city streets, urban arterials, and highways.
