About the Role
At Weave, we build practical and delightful robots that benefit as many people as possible. We are growing our assembly and manufacturing teams to meet increasing demand and are looking for skilled individuals to join us.
Responsibilities
- Own parts CAM to first article, including programming in CAM, selecting tooling, setup, and cutting production and prototype parts.
- Hold critical tolerances by reading GD&T, understanding functional callouts, and inspecting own work.
- Own 3D printers (FDM/SLA-class), including job preparation, material handling, and determining optimal fabrication methods.
- Maintain the tool library, machine maintenance schedules, and stock organization.
- Provide direct DFM feedback to engineers to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle time.
Requirements
- 3+ years programming and machining own parts on CNC mills.
- CAM fluency in Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and first-article inspection.
- Experience in prototype shop environments with frequent changeovers and new parts.
- Ability to provide DFM feedback to engineering.
