About the Role
The PBX Operator/Reservationist is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing communications courteously, maintaining a positive and professional image, and handling guest room reservations. This role also involves receiving and executing guest requests, communicating with other departments, and potentially assisting at the Front Desk.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing communications.
- Handle guest room reservations, understanding rate strategy and reservation policies.
- Record bookings accurately.
- Identify upsell opportunities.
- Receive and execute guest requests.
- Communicate with departments such as housekeeping and front desk.
- Assist at the Front Desk as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of PBX system preferred.
- Knowledge of guest relations preferred.
- Previous guest service experience preferred.
