About the Role
Ballinger is seeking a Designer II to collaborate through the complete design and construction process, specializing in healthcare, academic, and research facilities. This role involves developing design concepts and translating them into detailed drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct design related research
- Interface and coordinate with other disciplines
- Develop knowledge of Ballinger’s project types (health care, academic/lab/research, corporate/workspace)
- Produce 3D renderings
- Pick up redlines in a documentation set
- Provide mentorship and actively share knowledge
- Create and maintain Firm technical standards
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Architecture or equivalent; BS or BA degree in Interiors or knowledge gained over years of work experience; or MArch
- Entry level or up to Five years of experience
- In the final stages of working toward your Professional Licensure (RA)

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

- Ability to take direction within a larger team
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, or other modeling software applications
