About the Role
Junior is building the AI operating system for investment research, helping financial institutions complete high-stakes research workflows faster. You will own features end-to-end, shipping on a weekly cadence and working on groundbreaking projects involving LLMs. You will also speak directly with clients to shape product decisions and help define the engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Own features end to end across frontend, backend, and data layer.
- Ship features on a weekly cadence.
- Design and build new ways of working with computers.
- Work on groundbreaking projects involving LLMs.
- Speak directly with clients using the built features.
- Use client conversations to shape product decisions.
- Help define Junior's engineering culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Demonstrated competence over pedigree.
- Genuinely strong in TypeScript, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to build a polished React/Next.js interface or work through a difficult TypeScript problem live and quickly without relying on Copilot.
- Solid foundations in data structures, system design, and PostgreSQL.
- High-agency and product-minded.
- Experience owning projects end-to-end and shipping without a detailed specification.
- Clear communication skills.
- Desire for a client-facing role.
- Based in London or committed to relocating.
- Excited to work with the team in person in Farringdon.
- Feeling of never building fast enough.
