About the Role

Our practice partners with North American Dental Group to deliver best-in-class patient care, focusing on empathy and transforming the dental experience. Responsibilities

• Partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support and help patients receive needed care.
• Prepares patients for treatment and assists the dentist in restorative dentistry.
• Provides chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
• Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.

Requirements

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• Radiography/X-RAY certification for respective state.
• CPR Certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
