About the Role
Working parents on the Upper West Side are seeking a seasoned live-out career nanny for their two children, ages 1 and 4, to begin ASAP. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, with overtime opportunities. The family seeks a warm, professional candidate with strong experience in toddler and preschool care, a long-term mindset, and a proactive, engaging approach.
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, nurturing, developmentally focused care
- Planning age-appropriate activities and supporting developmental milestones
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Managing the children’s laundry and maintaining organization of nursery, bedrooms, and play areas
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, and daily routines
- Supporting the older child’s schedule and activities as needed
- Ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for both children
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of recent professional infant/toddler nanny experience in a private household
- Valid U.S. passport, Green Card, or EAC
- Flexible, travel-ready, and willing to travel both domestically and internationally
- Up to date on Flu, RSV, Tdap, and MMR vaccinations
- Infant and child CPR certification
- Non-smoker / smoke-free lifestyle

- $40 per hour for the first 40 hours worked weekly (guaranteed minimum annual compensation of $145,600)
- Overtime paid at $60 per hour thereafter
