About the Role
Clementine Briarcliff Manor is a residential treatment program for adolescents with eating disorders. We support adolescents and their families on the path to full recovery by equipping them with the skills to navigate life's challenges without the eating disorder. We are seeking a Residential Counselor/Recovery Coach to join our team, offering an exciting opportunity to grow your career in mental health and the eating disorder field.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and support clients through their recovery journey.
- Provide support and intervention consistent with the client’s treatment plan.
- Engage clients in developing healthy connections with peers and the team.
- Assist with food preparation and supervision of client meals and snacks.
- Participate in therapeutic groups and develop skills for clinical growth.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations.
- Transport clients off-site for appointments and activities.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
- Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
- Good communication and client relations skills.
- Service orientation.
- Flexibility.
