About the Role

Performs cleaning and maintenance tasks in small public buildings within a botanical garden setting, ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of small public buildings.
• Perform office moves, and setup/breakdown of tents, chairs, and tables.
• Conduct sweeping, dusting, mopping, high-speed buffing, and waxing.
• Perform carpet cleaning using bonnet, cold and hot water extraction methods.
• Engage in power washing, refuse gathering and disposal.
• Clean and remove snow from walkways.

Requirements

• 2 years of full-time experience in cleaning and maintaining buildings.
• Experience in a large cultural institution or educational facility is preferred.
• Ability to move 25lbs and lift overhead.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
