About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to own our industrial business, focusing on logistics, distribution, and material-handling environments where our robots work alongside people and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience shipping physical products into industrial settings, be comfortable on customer sites, and capable of independently owning a product area.
Responsibilities
- Own the industrial product line end to end, including market definition, use cases, requirements, roadmap priorities, and business case, and be accountable for commercial results.
- Drive the success of active industrial deployments by working directly on-site with customers in live production environments.
- Conduct customer and site discovery, observing operations and translating findings into requirements.
- Advise the commercial team on sales strategy, including target segments, fit criteria, ROI, and proof points.
- Inform pricing, packaging, and positioning to capture created value.
- Own the product side of the integration strategy to ensure robots work with existing customer systems.
- Build competitive and win/loss insights for the industrial segment.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management shipping physical products (e.g., robots, autonomous vehicles, industrial machinery) that were deployed commercially.
- Direct experience in industrial environments such as warehousing, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, material handling, or construction.
- Proven track record of independently owning a product area, setting direction, and managing outcomes.
- Comfort working in the field and on customer sites for extended periods.
- Strong written communication skills for requirements, decision memos, and customer synthesis.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
