Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day outpatient operations, focusing on general waiting areas, radiology, and physician appointments.
- Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with leadership.
- Serve as the point of contact for schedule changes and coordinate with regional management.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to standardize and simplify workflows.
- Utilize the full performance management cycle for staff development, including coaching and evaluations.
- Facilitate onboarding and ongoing education for nursing staff, including competency verification.
- Optimize daily and weekly nurse schedules.
- Oversee Patient Access Services to ensure front-end operations meet enterprise standards.
- Serve as timekeeper for direct reports.
- Develop strategies to foster teamwork, engagement, and excellence.
- Maintain consistent communication forums for staff on organizational updates and initiatives.
- Ensure leadership onsite presence and arrange coverage.
- Conduct Environment of Safety rounds to ensure compliance with standards.
- Escalate identified issues for prompt action.
- Support the annual capital budgeting process.
- Provide clinical support to physicians during office sessions and Presurgical Screening.
- Room patients, including preparing them for exams and collecting data.
- Assist with procedures such as suture/staple removal, cast application/removal, EKGs, venipuncture, and injections.
