About the Role
Ready Set Rocket (a Sia Company) is seeking a Freelance Influencer Strategist to develop and implement creator partnerships that support integrated, performance-driven campaigns. This role involves close collaboration with Social, Growth, Creative, and Paid Media teams to ensure creator content aligns with broader brand awareness, engagement, and performance objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong perspective on the talent landscape, the ability to match creators to campaigns effectively, and the flexibility to work across various clients and industries.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit creators whose personas, content, and audiences align with brand strategy, target marketing segments, and campaign goals.
- Translate campaign objectives and paid media strategies into creator recommendations for paid ad content.
- Develop and distribute influencer briefs for product launches, seasonal pushes, tentpole activations, or partnership amplification.
- Structure usage terms upfront, including paid amplification windows, whitelisting/partnership ad permissions, cross-platform repurposing, exclusivity, and renewal triggers.
- Ensure creator assets align with and are cleared for the media plan before production.
- Lead contract negotiations, oversee creator licensing and budget allocations, and manage invoicing workflows.
- Surface creator and content trends, as well as emerging platforms, to keep campaigns current.
- Ensure influencer activations are integrated into paid, social, and creative channels for maximum impact.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years in creator marketing strategy, ideally within an advertising or creator-focused agency or integrated marketing brand environment.
- Strong understanding of creator discovery tools, performance metrics, and contract negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with creators, agents, and managers across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to translate marketing goals into creator briefs.
- Fluency in creator usage rights and licensing structures.
- Experience collaborating with brand and growth teams.
- Comfort linking UGC to media strategies and measurable outcomes on both organic and paid sides.
- Must be available during East Coast business hours (9am-5pm) for client and team meetings.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Advertising or creator agency experience is ideal.
- Health and wellness industry familiarity is a plus.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
