About the Role
The UK Financial Services Financial Diligence team at EY has opportunities for a Senior Manager. This role involves working with a high-performing team on high-profile IPOs and transactions, offering diverse experiences for continuous learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Understand key business drivers, co-develop approach with the client, and agree on value measurements.
- Provide value to the client through insights, factual conclusions, and advice.
- Project manage teams and work closely with all members.
- Form strong internal links within Financial Diligence and other EY departments globally to create multi-disciplinary teams.
- Gather, verify, and assess information to formulate views.
- Plan, prepare, and review deliverables in various forms, including written reports, presentations, and client discussions.
- Plan and monitor team progress.
- Share technical and other knowledge with the team and department.
- Build and develop internal and external networks.
- Identify opportunities to sell additional services to clients.
- Participate in business plan initiatives.
- Act as a business advisor to the client and establish yourself as a key client contact.
- Take responsibility for personal learning and development.
- Provide coaching and support to others.
- Participate in upward feedback.
Requirements
- Business Development experience
- An ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Strong commercial experience or transaction experience, including financial due diligence experience
- Financial services experience developed working with or for companies across Insurance, Banking & Capital Markets, and Asset Management sectors
- A passion for providing high-quality service to clients
Skills
- Ability to gather, verify, and analyze information to formulate views and conclusions
- Demonstrable experience in planning, preparing, and reviewing deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations, and discussions with the client
- Ability to offer a supportive culture to junior team members, assisting their development
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
