About the Role
A-MAX Insurance is seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team as an Insurance Sales Agent. This role offers intensive training, licensing support, and an opportunity to build a rewarding career in insurance sales with a focus on customer service and client acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with various insurance needs, including new policies, policy edits, payments, renewals, and reinstatements.
- Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk based on condition, age, and other characteristics.
- Seek out new clients, generate prospect lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
- Collaborate with office managers to develop marketing strategies for customer acquisition.
- Perform administrative tasks, manage policy renewals, and liaise with underwriting to finalize policies.
- Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
- Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
- Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
- Basic Computer knowledge.
- Strong written, verbal, and people skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision.
- Quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software.
- Complete continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status with TDI.
