About the Role

The Sales Development Manager will lead the SDR function, responsible for the top of the funnel, including pitch, process, pipeline, and people. This role drives net new pipeline and revenue, and builds a talent pipeline for the Account Executive organization by hiring, training, and mentoring SDRs for future closing roles. Reporting to the Head of Growth, this position is key to building a world-class go-to-market organization.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve net new pipeline sourced goals through outbound efforts.
  • Lead top-of-funnel execution, owning activity SLAs and KPIs.
  • Instrument the funnel to monitor volume, conversion, and quality daily.
  • Build and manage a recruiting engine for SDR talent.
  • Coach SDRs through call reviews, pitch critiques, and objection handling.
  • Design and manage a promotion path for SDRs transitioning to Account Executives.
  • Own and refine the outbound playbook across multiple channels.
  • Conduct rigorous experiments on messaging, target accounts, personas, channels, and cadence.
  • Collaborate with AEs, sales leadership, product marketing, and growth teams.
  • Report on performance, including activity, conversion, pipeline contribution, and team development.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience leading SDRs.
  • 2+ years of experience as a closing Account Executive.
  • Experience carrying a team number and closing deals.
  • Proven track record of building, hiring, onboarding, and ramping SDR teams.
  • Demonstrated success in promoting SDRs into closing roles.
  • Experience with technical or complex B2B sales.
  • Ability to teach reps to hold credible conversations with operations and finance leaders.
  • Scrappy and resourceful with a bias toward action.
  • Team-first mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
