About the Role

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with field operations, marketing, supply chain, finance, and franchise teams to align launches, calendar activations, and digital promotions from an operations perspective.
- Manage and develop one direct report, providing coaching and clear priorities to support team performance.
- Support food product launches end to end, from initial product testing and market tests to national rollout.
- Manage operations projects from ideation to execution related to equipment, standards, and digital operations.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining SOPs and training resources for field and restaurant teams.
- Support the planning and logistics for training sessions and presentations involving restaurant teams and franchisees.
- Manage relationships with third-party partners, acting as the subject matter expert on their platforms and business operations.
- Analyze restaurant and franchisee operational performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Partner closely with US cross-functional teams to stay informed on initiatives and identify opportunities for Canada.
- Serve as a key point of contact for franchisee and restaurant communications, ensuring timely operational updates.
- Conduct monthly restaurant visits to build a hands-on understanding of the business and its impact on operations and guest experience.
- Travel up to 10–20% across Canada.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, franchise operations, or operations analytics.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee initiatives end to end.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in working with and negotiating with franchisees and external vendors.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust as business needs evolve.
- Experience in the QSR or franchise industry is a strong asset.
- Bilingual (English/French) proficiency is an asset.
