About the Role
The Building, Property and Real Estate (BPRE) team within Deutsche Bank's Investment Bank & Capital Markets division advises a significant portfolio of UK corporate clients. This role involves servicing clients, providing Corporate Finance advice, and working on transactions such as Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
Responsibilities
- Support the team in providing strategic advice to clients around equity story positioning, fundraising requirements, M&A and defence advice.
- Support with M&A, ECM and other transaction processes within the BPRE sector, liaising with clients, internal teams, regulators and managing other advisers.
- Undertake and develop strong technical skills including financial analysis, modelling, valuation and sector knowledge.
- Coordinate and produce marketing materials for target corporate clients and financial sponsors.
- Service clients day-to-day, expressing relevant information and communicating clearly in meetings and emails; delivering solutions to clients using sector, market and product knowledge.
- Engage with the broader Deutsche Numis equities platform and Deutsche Bank platforms to help deliver for our clients.
Requirements
- Previous relevant experience within a Real Estate Corporate Finance role is preferred.
- Candidates who have completed an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or equivalent qualification and have gained Corporate Finance experience are also considered.
- Experience within wider Industrials or Real Estate sectors is preferable.
- Financial modelling experience.
- Good communication skills together with interpersonal skills are key given the highly client focusing nature of the role.
- Ability to communicate effectively, whether presenting to clients or senior executives.
- Able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities.
- Partnership minded with a strive for excellence in what you do, underpinned by strong analytical skills.
