About the Role
Mad Science is seeking instructors to teach STEM programs to youth from Pre-K to 6th grade. This role involves leading fun, interactive science lessons during after-school hours, evenings, and weekends. We provide all necessary supplies, equipment, and curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Drive to schools, daycares, or park and rec centers.
- Lead one-hour immersive and interactive science lessons.
- Set up and take down program materials.
Requirements
- Must own or have regular access to a car.
- Must be flexible, creative, engaging, and possess excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must love children, science, teaching, and/or acting.
- Must be comfortable with non-traditional work schedules and the gig economy.
- Must be willing to try new things and embrace variety.
