About the Role
Provides nursing care for residents by offering supportive and restorative care, teaching, and collaborating on resident service plans within an Assisted Living/Memory Care Unit.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to resident care and service plans by collecting data and participating in care planning meetings.
- Communicates and collaborates effectively with residents, families, colleagues, and the healthcare team.
- Provides education, supervision, and counseling to residents and families regarding care needs.
- Documents accurate and pertinent information in the client service record in a timely manner.
- Conducts supervisory visits of resident care assistants, companions, and homemakers.
- Participates in educational programs, inservices, meetings, and workshops to enhance professional skills.
- Oversees medication management, including ordering, storing, reconciling, and preparing medications for administration.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
