About the Role
As a PKI Consultant, you will strengthen our Professional Services team and support clients in securely designing modern IT infrastructures. You will guide companies and authorities from strategic consulting and architecture concepts to the automation of certificate processes, working across technologies and focusing on future-oriented security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with in-depth PKI knowledge to establish modern and secure IT infrastructures.
- Provide architectural and strategic consulting, create cross-vendor high-level concepts, and assist with product selection.
- Assist colleagues with the implementation of PKI solutions when needed.
- Advise on the implementation of various certificate use cases, such as email encryption, 802.1X, or certificate-based authentication.
- Apply expertise in classic PKI projects for companies and authorities, as well as in areas like DevOps or IoT projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency with at least one PKI product (e.g., ADCS, Nexus, or EJBCA).
- Practical experience with OCSP responders, CMP, SCEP, or ACME is ideal.
- Very good IT infrastructure knowledge, including server operating systems, Active Directory, and networks.
- Enjoy delving into technical details and conceptually working on PKI design and certificate process definition, or authoring a Certificate Policy.
- Fluent in German and English.
