About the Role
Joshua Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with the crew, clients, and the public. The Tree Climber will work as part of a 2-4 person crew, assisting in tree removal, pruning, and preservation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques
- Ensure safe tree operations
- Maintain assigned equipment
- Communicate effectively with crew
- Communicate with clients and public near the job site
- Communicate with crew leader and coworkers effectively
- Maintain professional image
- Provide excellent customer service
- Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist
- Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment
- Follow company safety culture
- Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
- Be available to work at least 40 hours per week
- Understand aerial lift operations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of tree climbing experience
- Valid driver's license
