About the Role

We are seeking a leader in the digital space to develop our digital offering across our US business, with regular travel to the US. You will be a senior member of our UK Information Management team, supporting its growth and development. This role involves acting as a project lead driving digital transformation on major infrastructure projects, developing strategies, planning processes, and implementing tools to improve project delivery. You will advocate for digital ways of working, promote good information management, and work closely with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Successful management of the client relationship, including feedback, scope change, and client expectations.
  • Support the development and execution of project Digital Delivery Strategies aligned with project requirements, client expectations, and standards.
  • Ensure successful technical, commercial, and financial project delivery for the client and Mott MacDonald.
  • Lead the technical delivery of consultancy services.
  • Deliver a program of technical solutions as agreed with the client.
  • Ensure compliance with Mott MacDonald's management, quality, safety, and environmental system requirements.
  • Identify and manage project delivery teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest industry and company best practices in digitally-enabled project delivery.

Requirements

  • A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience project managing multi-disciplinary projects, ideally within transport and using ISO 19650 standards.
  • Appetite and experience in management, growth, and development of teams.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies used during the delivery phase.
  • Strong communication, team working, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Seasoned Digital professional with experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects from concept to construction.
  • Experience working with international teams and across time zones is beneficial.
  • Openness to occasional international travel.
  • Understanding of the impact of information management and digital tools on built environment projects.
  • Understanding of the design process, design risk management, construction programming, tendering process, and quality assurance management.
