Responsibilities

Prep and evaluate test specimens
Report results of test specimens
Keep records and post specimen results
Ensure that all necessary laboratory equipment is functioning properly, and all supplies are available
Ensure the lab is kept in a clean and orderly fashion
Ensure that all applicable laboratory paperwork is current
Train any future Lab Techs
Involvement in CORE continuous improvement initiatives – utilize CORE tools.
Help maintain world class safety culture and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly.
Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Management Team.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Mechanical ability
Ability to read work instructions and blueprints
Reliable, punctual, and flexible
Prior experience in a lab environment is a plus
Currently trained as an Inspector helpful, but not necessary
Computer skills helpful
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Organized and detail-oriented
Quality Excellence and strong work ethic
Quick learner, self-starter
Able to work as part of a team
HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
