About the Role
Midstate Spring is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Springmaker. This role involves fabricating and assembling various types of springs using state-of-the-art machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow detailed instructions to ensure high-quality product output.
Responsibilities
- Create springs for power tools, firearms, and medical devices.
- Program specialty machines using CNC software and custom tooling to produce springs.
- Read customer specifications and utilize manufacturing measuring tools.
- Engage in various elements of steel fabrication, including hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, dye and painting systems, and steel grinding.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure springs meet required specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- 2 years of Spring Making (coiling/forming springs) experience required.
- Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office, email composition, and other communication/collaborative tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Lifting: 50 lbs.
