About the Role

Change Grow Live is seeking a passionate and motivated MASH Recovery Coordinator to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. This role is crucial for safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults by integrating substance misuse information into multi-agency decision-making. The coordinator will act as the substance misuse specialist within MASH, providing expert advice and coordinating information sharing to protect vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities

Act as the key substance misuse representative within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
Gather, analyse, and present relevant substance misuse information to support multi-agency risk assessments and safeguarding decisions.
Provide professional advice relating to substance misuse, safeguarding, and domestic abuse concerns.
Support service users through assessment, recovery planning, and referral pathways.
Work closely with statutory and voluntary partners, including social care, health services, criminal justice agencies, and community organisations.
Maintain accurate records and ensure information is shared appropriately with partner agencies.
Contribute to the development of information-sharing protocols and continuous improvement of MASH processes.
Promote recovery, resilience, and positive outcomes for people affected by substance misuse.

Requirements

Experience working within substance misuse, recovery, safeguarding, health, social care, or a related field.
A strong understanding of drug and alcohol issues and their impact on individuals, families, and communities.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to a range of professionals.
Experience of partnership working and multi-agency collaboration.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
