About the Role
Change Grow Live is seeking a passionate and motivated MASH Recovery Coordinator to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. This role is crucial for safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults by integrating substance misuse information into multi-agency decision-making. The coordinator will act as the substance misuse specialist within MASH, providing expert advice and coordinating information sharing to protect vulnerable individuals.
Responsibilities
- Act as the key substance misuse representative within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
- Gather, analyse, and present relevant substance misuse information to support multi-agency risk assessments and safeguarding decisions.
- Provide professional advice relating to substance misuse, safeguarding, and domestic abuse concerns.
- Support service users through assessment, recovery planning, and referral pathways.
- Work closely with statutory and voluntary partners, including social care, health services, criminal justice agencies, and community organisations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure information is shared appropriately with partner agencies.
- Contribute to the development of information-sharing protocols and continuous improvement of MASH processes.
- Promote recovery, resilience, and positive outcomes for people affected by substance misuse.
Requirements
- Experience working within substance misuse, recovery, safeguarding, health, social care, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of drug and alcohol issues and their impact on individuals, families, and communities.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to a range of professionals.
- Experience of partnership working and multi-agency collaboration.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Salary/Compensations
- CGL points 23 to 28 (£28,557.79 - £32,802.41) pro rata
- Outer London Weighting (£2,250.61) pro rata
