About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our expanding Facilities Management consultancy service. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious FM Advisory team focused on transforming the built environment by providing technical and commercial advice on challenges related to building performance, efficiency, and space utilization.
Responsibilities
- Support the FM team through all stages of the asset life cycle to achieve strategic objectives.
- Add long-term value and optimize performance for end users.
- Support operational FM teams.
- Contribute to procurement activities.
- Assist with asset management improvements.
- Develop skills in areas such as CAFM, lifecycle planning, cost analysis, and benchmarking.
- Support the delivery of FM-related projects for clients.
- Work alongside colleagues on both strategic and operational aspects of FM projects.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team where collaboration and networking are essential.
Requirements
- Technical, Excel, and report writing skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Curiosity and strong motivation to learn and build a career in FM advisory.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks.
- Analytical thinker and problem-solving attitude.
- Knowledge of asset and facilities management gained in an operational or consultancy environment.
- Knowledge of PowerBi is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Government Soft Landings is advantageous.
- Educated to degree level.
- Experience writing technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of relevant ISO standards.
- An interest in working towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. IWFM, RICS, CIOB, APM).
- Experience and understanding of asset modelling and management systems.
- An understanding of or interest in technology in use in FM, and/or digital construction.
- Applicants transitioning from operational FM roles are welcome.
- May be suitable for military service leavers with transferable skills/relevant experience.
- Offers are conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of Security Clearance.
