About the Role
Ryder is hiring AZ Shuttle Truck Drivers for a dedicated route from London to Alliston. This position offers consistent, full-time work with night dispatch, home daily, and no-touch freight.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 9 months verifiable commercial driving experience
- Must not have more than one moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
- All applicants must have valid legal authorization to work in Canada.
