About the Role

This working-lead role owns product definition quality for the most complex opportunities within the Data Products portfolio, ensuring output quality throughout the entire lifecycle from problem framing to Ready-to-Build handoff. The focus is on generating insight and setting a high standard for the team through direct demonstration.

Responsibilities

  • Own output quality across the full product definition lifecycle for the highest-complexity opportunities.
  • Set and demonstrate the standard for well-defined opportunities through personal work.
  • Make decisions on which opportunities move forward.
  • Develop repeatable methods and templates for Solutions Analysts.
  • Author product definitions, business metric tables, and agent context specs for complex opportunities.
  • Lead decisions on deployment channels (e.g., Databricks-native, Teams, Dynamics).
  • Maintain the business context layer, including metric definitions, metadata, and decision rules for AI products.
  • Represent product definition in cross-functional reviews with Platform Engineering and DS/ML.
  • Improve the judgment of Solutions Analysts through feedback, standards, and context.
  • Ensure clean handoffs to Platform Engineering and define model requirements and constraints for DS/ML.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years in data, analytics, or product with end-to-end product definition ownership.
  • Demonstrated depth in product definition, including writing well-structured product specs, business metric tables, and agent context documents.
  • Technical fluency to make deployment decisions without engineering scope.
  • Ability to set standards by demonstrating them, rather than directing others.
  • Capacity to influence Solutions Analysts and peers through standards, documentation, and coaching without formal authority.
  • Discipline in managing boundaries with Platform Engineering and DS/ML.
  • Ability to obtain a gaming or other required license(s).
  • Willingness to undergo background investigations or security checks.
