About the Role
As an Electrical Assembler, you will build and test electrical components for JBT Marel's equipment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy reading schematics, hands-on work, and collaborating within a manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to complete electrical assemblies.
- Gather and verify parts, tools, and materials needed for each job.
- Assemble, wire, and solder electrical components to specifications.
- Perform panel wiring and machine wiring based on documentation.
- Test equipment and complete required documentation (test reports, NCRs, etc.).
- Support engineering teams with prototype builds.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Associate degree in electrical, electro-mechanical technology, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory and test equipment.
- Experience using hand tools (crimpers, strippers, drills etc.).
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
