About the Role

The Revenue Audit Clerk is responsible for counting, auditing, and balancing all revenue and expense related documents, ensuring accuracy in financial records for both gaming and non-gaming areas. This role involves data input, attention to detail, and collaboration with auditors and accounting personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform audits assigned in an efficient and accurate manner on a daily basis.
  • Generate daily reports and reconcile large audit variances.
  • Complete daily checklist for all audits.
  • Prepare Exceptions Reports for non-compliance issues.
  • Generate clear and legible scanned images for the audit and accounting processes.
  • Pick up paperwork for the audits on the casino floor.
  • Verify the accuracy of financial records and catch mistakes.
  • Prepare daily revenue and expense reports.
  • Maintain STRICT confidentiality of internal activities.
  • Work as shared services between other properties as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Demonstrate consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assist in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications and other computer programs.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations.
  • Ability to access and input information in the computer.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
