About the Role
This role is central to On Location's monetization strategy for the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games. You will be responsible for a defined group of venues, becoming the expert in pricing, product, and commercial strategy for them, while understanding the overall program to ensure optimal positioning.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for an assigned cluster of LA28 venues, developing deep knowledge of their products, demand profile, inventory, and commercial dynamics.
- Direct strategy for assigned venues across the wider business based on expertise.
- Own the full pricing and yield lifecycle for your cluster, from initial price setting through in-market yield management.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of the entire LA28 hospitality monetization landscape.
- Translate venue-level insight into clear recommendations that shape program-wide pricing and commercial strategy.
- Apply rigorous pricing and revenue-management discipline to set, defend, and adjust price points for your venues.
- Manage strategic inventory holds and release strategy for your cluster to maximize yield.
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Ticketing to operationalize pricing, resolve inventory issues, approve discounts and bulk deals, and maintain system accuracy.
- Navigate the operational complexity of a large-scale, fast-moving Games environment, anticipating issues and making sound commercial decisions independently.
- Serve as the go-to expert for pricing- or monetization-related matters at your venues.
- Monitor sell-through, competitor pricing, and market trends for your venues, and recommend timely adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong pricing and/or revenue-management background.
- Highly operationally savvy, with a proven track record of delivering in complex, high-pressure, fast-moving projects or environments.
- Ability to work autonomously, think on your feet, and make reasoned, commercially sound decisions with limited direction.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills across all levels.
