About the Role

Argus Search is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Tax Assistant / Tax Specialist (gn) on behalf of a client. This is an opportunity to join a successful boutique firm.

Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of ongoing financial accounting for a fixed client base
• Preparation and creation of annual financial statements and income surplus calculations
• Preparation of business tax returns
• Review of tax assessments and support with tax-related issues
• Personal client support for accounting and financial reporting matters
• Communication with tax authorities and other government agencies
• Work with DATEV and support the further development of digital office processes
• Close collaboration with tax advisors and other members of the office team

Requirements

• Completed training as a tax assistant or further training as a tax specialist
• Professional experience in a tax consulting firm or tax office
• Very good knowledge of financial accounting, annual financial statements, and tax return preparation
• Confident use of DATEV and standard MS Office applications
• Independent, structured, and meticulous work approach
• Strong service orientation and enjoyment of personal client support
• Teamwork skills, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility
• Interest in professional development and personal growth
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
