About the Role
Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an LNT Application Specialist to assess product applications, prepare detailed specifications, and build mini-applications for customers. This role involves customer visits, demonstrations, training, and technical support, contributing to scientific discoveries and supporting critical decisions in life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for LNT products, sales and order numbers.
- Conduct customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and equipment training.
- Provide application support and participate in exhibitions and academic conferences.
- Create application notes and product catalogs.
- Provide technical support.
- Utilize SFDC and enhance funnel management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Application Specialist in the Life Science or Applied/Industry market.
- Japanese language proficiency is required.
- Excellent selling skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Relationship building with key persons of the customer.
- Communication skills.
- Teamwork with line managers and colleagues.
- English capability is preferred for email correspondence and online training.
- Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
