About the Role
Seeking a dedicated and skilled civilian Supervisory Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Fort Polk, LA. This employed civilian position offers job security and a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- Offer regular and concise feedback to providers and staff on patient status and recommendations for team-based care.
- Document patient encounter information in the electronic health record.
- Provide guidance to hospital leadership on Psychology policy.
- Offer professional and clinical consultation to military and community leaders and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Treat severe and complex variations of adult psychological dysfunction using DSM-based diagnostic clinical formulations.
- Supervise federal civilian employees, including establishing work priorities, making assignments, monitoring work, and providing technical and administrative guidance.
Requirements
- US Citizenship required.
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
- A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
- Completion of an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program.
- Completion of an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
