About the Role

Fabric is rebuilding how people access and navigate healthcare. As a Product Designer, you will shape the user experience from initial interaction through ongoing care journeys, serving as the design partner for the member-facing product. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to transform complex healthcare workflows into intuitive and user-friendly experiences. This senior-level role offers broad design ownership and significant scope, focusing on key areas of the member journey and driving the product vision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of key parts of the member experience: marketing site, signup and onboarding, member portal, in-product flows.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and clinical SMEs to translate complex care workflows into intuitive user experiences.
  • Conduct user research and use evidence to inform design decisions.
  • Facilitate design workshops and alignment sessions to drive product strategy and scope definition.
  • Build and maintain components and patterns that scale across the member experience and contribute to the Design System.
  • Run design reviews, providing and receiving feedback to enhance work quality.
  • Partner with brand and marketing on the consumer expression of Fabric across acquisition channels.

Requirements

  • Product design experience with shipped consumer-facing work.
  • Strong product thinking, ensuring functionality alongside aesthetics.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, capable of moving from problem identification to shipped product.
  • Proactive in shaping requirements through collaborative planning.
  • Curiosity about healthcare and willingness to learn the domain.
  • Strong craft in Figma and a portfolio showcasing range in flows and visual quality.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools within the design process (e.g., Figma Make, Claude).
  • Ability to present work effectively to engineers, PMs, and executives, adapting communication style as needed.
