About the Role
Redding Ridge is seeking an Associate to join its COO team, supporting strategic initiatives and business operations. This role offers broad exposure to senior leadership and the firm's overall business functions, focusing on financially oriented projects like revenue and cost analysis, business performance tracking, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance across core business lines, producing actionable outputs for leadership.
- Support the development of business cases and investment rationales for new initiatives.
- Build and maintain financial models for revenue/expense analysis, fee modeling, and scenario analysis.
- Assist in preparing financial reporting packages, board materials, and investor-facing materials.
- Track key performance metrics and develop analytical dashboards.
- Support the COO on strategic initiatives, including market analysis and competitive benchmarking.
- Prepare executive-ready materials for decision-making and leadership discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive business views.
- Assist in developing and tracking strategic planning frameworks.
- Undertake special analytical projects with strong financial judgment.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, Big 4 advisory, FP&A at a financial services firm, or a related analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with an understanding of how financial businesses generate revenue and manage costs.
- Ability to take a loosely defined project brief through to a decision-ready analytical output.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials.
- Collaborative, adaptable team player willing to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and sound analytical judgment.
- Bachelor's degree required.
