About the Role
Supervise and guide a team of Spa Attendants to ensure daily standards and procedures are met with the highest level of guest satisfaction. Maintain service and hospitality standards throughout all interactions, and facilitate training and evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee staff, guiding and supporting spa and café attendants during shifts.
- Monitor spa cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure guests adhere to spa etiquette.
- Address and resolve issues for guests and staff.
- Ensure spa areas are immaculate, safe, and in good repair.
- Understand and direct guests according to first aid/emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with all resort departments.
- Support team members through positive reinforcement and coaching.
- Maintain a calm demeanor in difficult situations.
- Develop positive relationships with the Spa team by understanding individual needs and concerns.
Requirements
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
- Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week.
- Ability to sit, stand (for eight hours or more a day), reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 40 pounds or less.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven leadership qualities.
- Ability to work cohesively with all Spa areas and co-workers as part of a team.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated success at working multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exercise good judgment with guest and employee situations and challenges.
- Computer and technology proficient.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and calm demeanor.
Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Book4Time Software knowledge a plus
- First Aid/AED/CPR certification preferred, or willing to become certified
