About the Role
This role is central to our Ecosystems events portfolio, focusing on creating innovative, community-driven events that move beyond traditional models. You will manage research, stakeholder relationships, content curation, and operational execution for experimental and niche-focused events, from early concepts to established programs. This is an opportunity to build an event career at the forefront of the tech ecosystem by creating new initiatives and connecting with key industry figures.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture genuine relationships with speakers, community members, partners, and portfolio companies.
- Research emerging tech trends and identify both high-profile and up-and-coming voices to build relevant audiences.
- Collaborate to design engaging, non-traditional event agendas and experiences tailored to specific communities.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of new event concepts, from exploration and validation to operations and execution.
- Facilitate meaningful introductions between speakers, community members, and portfolio companies.
- Support event logistics and execution, including outreach coordination and on-the-day assistance.
- Draft compelling outreach, briefing documents, and follow-ups that align with each event's unique tone.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in event production, community building, or content curation.
- Genuine interest in the tech startup ecosystem and emerging technology trends.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to move fast in early-stage event exploration.
- Strong attention to detail and entrepreneurial problem-solving skills.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build authentic relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing projects.
