About the Role
Promote and support the Red Wing brand image through professional selling, building customer loyalty, and providing conscientious customer service by delivering the Ultimate Fit Experience, selling premium products, and offering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Guide each customer through RWSC’s Ultimate Fit Experience
- Provide appropriate accessory recommendations and educate customers on their benefits
- Generate Industrial Sales Leads
- Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals
- Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards
- Maintain proficiency with product knowledge, technical, and operating standards through continuous learning
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations
- Provide direct support in the daily operations of the retail store
- Obtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of RWSC’s electronic communication software
- Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards
- Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values
- Perform additional duties as required
- Conduct self in accordance with RWSC policies
- Build collaborative relationships with key people
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be age 18+ within 30 days of application
- 2+ years relevant retail experience
- Demonstrated reliability and store operations knowledge (for key holder position)
- Results oriented with effective written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Proven reliability, trustworthiness, and strong work ethic
- Ability to manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
- Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to support team members
- Retail footwear experience
- Problem-solving and growth-oriented mindset
- Previous key holder or supervisory experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management
- Bending, squatting, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to perform housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, waxing floors, washing windows, and maintaining displays and fixtures
