About the Role
Join HGA's Community, Workplace & Government (CWG) team as an Architectural Project Manager and experienced Project Architect. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, team coordination, consultant management, and client communication, while ensuring design excellence and successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
- Develop and oversee project work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
- Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and code compliance throughout all phases.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, building trust and ensuring satisfaction.
- Lead presentations, facilitate approvals, and translate client goals into actionable strategies.
- Direct and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Coordinate consultants and stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Manage contracts, RFIs, submittmits, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Maintain organized and accurate project documentation in line with firm standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of architectural experience, including project management responsibilities and independent leadership of multiple small to midsize projects.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Architectural licensure preferred or in progress.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Deep understanding of building codes, construction methods, and project delivery.
Skills
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
- Strong design sensibility and sound architectural judgment.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Exceptional organization and project management skills.
- Ability to effectively delegate work, mentor team members, and leverage resources efficiently.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where project priorities and workloads may shift quickly.
- Ability to make strategic decisions that support project success, team health, and long-term client relationships.

Salary/Compensations
- $110,000 - $132,000
