About the Role
The Product Designer will own day-to-day design across the Performance team's suite of data and analytics products, from wireframe to production-ready handoff. This role also involves ownership of FanBuilder, our fan engagement product, and supporting campaigns and new business initiatives. The designer will work on diverse projects including client dashboards, fan engagement mechanics, and pitch responses, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and clients to deliver polished, consistent work.
Responsibilities
- Design screens, flows, and components for the web-based product suite, from wireframes to production-ready specs.
- Build and maintain prototypes to test and communicate design decisions.
- Produce developer-ready handoffs in Figma, covering states, interactions, and edge cases.
- Work within and extend the product design system for visual consistency.
- Iterate designs rapidly based on feedback from product and engineering.
- Take ownership of FanBuilder, shaping its future direction and evolving its design.
- Concept and design fan engagement mechanics like quizzes and predictors.
- Design client-facing visual outputs such as dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Support the look and feel of product demos and client walkthroughs.
- Provide design support for pitches and RFP responses.
- Conduct design QA on shipped features to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the design system, component, and asset libraries.
- Keep design documentation current for team self-service.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product or digital design experience for digital products.
- Expertise in Figma, including components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping, and developer handoff.
- A blend of UX thinking and UI polish.
- Experience working within and contributing to design systems.
- Strong foundations in typography, layout, and responsive web design.
- Experience handing off designs to engineering teams using modern web frameworks like React.
- Confidence working directly with clients, presenting, and iterating live.
- Comfortable working at a fast pace and switching between different briefs.
- Ability to leverage and collaborate with AI platforms for efficiency and output.
- Interest in sport and entertainment is advantageous.
- Ability to turn designs into working prototypes (code or no-code).
- A background in sport, entertainment, or sponsorship.
- Motion or short-form social content skills.
- Data visualization or dashboard experience.
