About the Role

The EVS and Wardrobe Manager oversees cleanliness across casino areas, public spaces, back of house, restrooms, and wardrobe operations, excluding F&B stewarding areas. This role provides operational oversight for daily, weekly, and 30-60-90 day periods, adhering to Seneca Gaming Corporation policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and direct EVS supervisory staff and wardrobe personnel.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain superior standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Resorts to develop and manage the department budget.
  • Monitor inventory and supplies, recommending purchases.
  • Ensure effective scheduling of EVS and wardrobe staff according to business needs.
  • Monitor and control expenses and labor in alignment with departmental budgets.
  • Approve payroll and time off requests.
  • Ensure comprehensive staff training.
  • Verify compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Ensure safe organization and storage of chemicals and equipment in designated areas.
  • Maintain inventory controls for equipment, cleaning products, radios, and wardrobe items.
  • Manage uniform inventory levels and establish pars for timely ordering.
  • Coordinate uniform needs with department managers.
  • Organize the wardrobe inventory room.
  • Train new employees on efficient receiving, storage, and issuing of uniforms.
  • Ensure MSDS information is accessible to all employees.
  • Research and recommend periodic replacement or purchase of cleaning equipment.
  • Monitor and ensure regular and proper maintenance of all equipment.
  • Oversee documented property-wide inspection programs and track work orders for repairs and cleanings.
  • Maintain documented cyclical cleaning programs.
  • Adhere to Purchasing, HR, and TERO compliance requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine months of employment.
  • Attend all necessary meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, as job requirements may change.
  • Work a 24-hour schedule as determined by business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Proficient with the proper use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals, including heavy cleaning equipment.
  • Possess equipment knowledge and troubleshooting ability to communicate repair needs.
  • Adequate manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to properly dilute, use, and ensure the safety of cleaning chemicals for oneself and others.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
  • Maintain physical stamina and mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment.
  • Effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and the business community in all situations.

Salary/Compensations

  • $55,612.00
  • Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
